Help Every Last Person: Philippines
On January 4, 2012, Barrio Fiesta Milpitas hosted a charity event to assist those victims of the flooding caused by typhoon Sendong in Mindanao, Philippines. To date, over 1,000 people have been killed and thousands more are missing.*
Another charity performance will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, starting at 6 PM. Come and enjoy a night of singing by our local young artists and help typhoon Sendong’s flood victims at the same time! No extra cash from your pocket because part of the restaurant’s proceeds from your food and drink orders will go directly to help the victims of this flooding.
Barrio Fiesta has officially started hosting “Open Talent Nights” for our Generation Y crowd! (18-30 somethings) You and your friends can bring your guitar, saxophones, portable pianos, etc. to share your talents with everyone! Don’t worry, there won’t be any formal judges or awards, just an opportunity to unwind, relax, and share some music with friends and family.
These events will be held at special times during designated days and is geared towards creating a place for the young at heart to congregate and have fun! Part of Barrio Fiesta’s commitment to our community!
